Zorgcomfortwinkel will start selling the first mobility scooter and wheelchair accessories from the Palestinian territories. By purchasing these products, customers will not only help themselves to more comfort, but also the people in the Westbank by generating employment and prospects to peace in the Middle East.

For the past six months Zorgcomfortwinkel, with the aid of a Palestinian manufacturerfor, has produced a high quality wheelchair / mobility scooter foot muff for the Dutch market.

Initiator of the commercial relationship is M. Rotteveel. Mr. Rotteveel is the owner of Zorgcomfortwinkel . His aim is to combine  entrepreneurship with development aid. Mr. Rotteveel independently travelled to the West Bank and met the manufacturer. The factory may look somewhat basic by Western standards, but the craft is of very high quality.
